mort Posted October 18, 2005 Report Share Posted October 18, 2005 I have an 03 rev and have noticed the clearance between the chain and the back of the mounting bracket for the footpeg seems to have reduced. Both pegs seem to be sitting symmetrically so I dont think its due to major crash .So is it a common problem and due to gradual sagging of the frame over a period of time and has anyone esle had this trouble.(it seems the frame not the brackets at fault) My feet seem to spend most of the time on the ground anyway so Iam a bit surprised its happening. lancsvet Posted November 18, 2005 Report Share Posted November 18, 2005 I'm on my second REV 3 and both have been the same. its no problem just keep an eye on the gap and if the chain does touch just bend the footpeg bracket back a bit because its likely that its the bracket thats got bent a bit, in 2 and a half years even though the gap has been very small Iv'e had no problems at all.
