carthy111
Hello everyone, I managed to get out on my bike yesterday for the first time after it's been back from the shop getting work done on it and I've found something that's really doing my head in lol, the clutch only bites literally a mm or 2 from when the lever is fully out, does anybody know how I can adjust it so the clutch bites when the lever is about half way out? It's just had a clutch master cylinder rebuild if that's anything to do with it i don't know.
inchhigh
There is a Japanese video on here somewhere where they add shims as the clutch plates wear i think this might help
bilks
Try slackening your adjusting screw on your lever.so it only starts to work 3/4 to half way in but make sure you still have full travel.when operating it.or try some of these fully adjustable, for reach i use these on my bike.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GASGAS-TRIALS-APICO-BLUE-TRICK-AJP-FLEXI-LEVERS-/191787138808?hash=item2ca7677ef8:g:hqAAAOxydlFS8W5A Edited March 7, 2016 by bilks
lineaway
You can grind the push pin down to get a sweet spot just for you. That`s the pin that actually pushes on the m/c piston.
