tony283
Assuming nobody has altered the standard of 13/53 all you need to do is change the front sprocket to 12T, a very simple operation. Do not be tempted to go to 11T ! Tony
lineaway
One tooth is not much assuming that you are still running 428 chain. Tony I assume an 11t rubs? You may need to go up on the back too. Problem is the too tight of sections for the older bikes. I had the same problem last weekend on a 348 Cota. guy53
I have been running 12 / 55 on mine for years and I like it, I had the chance to try different combinations and this fit OK. Guy
feetupfun
12/53 is what I use. 13/53 is OK too if you don't mind using the clutch here and there
badams
I run a 10/44 with a 520 chain on mine and it is geared very well for. On my spare ty it has 12/35 and it is terrible for trials riding. On my mono it is 12/
jbird
Hey; Thanks for the help. I have two ty 250s both have 14/53 I assume they are stock? The 12/55 or 10/44 have close ratio and a big difference from what I have now, Can't wait to try it. Thanks again Jbird
