tsiklonaut
Has anyone put anything on the sides of there carbon Exhaust to help prevent boot wear ???? Yes, mine's showing serious wear as well. It gets quite warm so I think most adhesive stuff wouldnt stay there(?)
tcrhino
I used PU paint protection film (mostly used on cars) and it stayed on but got really soft and bubbled a bit... Removed it from the exhaust, but it helps to keep the seat base nice. By the way: keeping your feet outward on the pegs gives more leverage and you will not hit the exhaust (a lot) when moving around.
canada280i
I just use carbon look dynoc (car wrap), doesn't last forever but is cheap and easy enough to replace as required
lotus54
If someone sees a used Termi for sale at a good price, please let me know. (I can't afford a new one!)
canada280i
Repaired the terms today, thanks to tsiklonaut for the pics.very easy job but needed doing for sure. Sounds great and has taken the loud bark out of the exhaust note
lotus54
I looked at the pictures, and perhaps the Termi won't even fit on the Explorer? Anyone ever tried it? It appears that it may extend where the subframe is located on the Explorer.
