Urgent Help Needed Re Dog Bone Linkage Please!

Ok, I may be being a bit thick but I'm in the middle of changing the dog bone bearings and I'm stuck!

I've removed the rear wheel, the suspension top bolt and I've removed the bolts from the rear of the dog bone (as per instructions I've seen on other posts). I've undone the nuts on the front of the dog bone but I can't get the bolts out. When I push them through they hit the bottom of the suspension unit before they've gone all the way through. Therefore, I can't get them out and so I can't get the dog bones off.

I've tried moving the suspension unit up and down and the swinging arm too but nothing will move the bottom of the suspension out of the way enough.

Help!!!

Thanks

Well, after going back to it with fresh eyes this morning I realised the reason I couldn't get the suspension unit out of the way enough to remove the front dog bone bolts was because one of them was slightly pushed through and blocking the shock. Pushed it back and then I could lift the shock up out of the way and remove front bolts. No need to remove lower shock mounting bolt at all.

Thanks all.

Old bearings out, new ones in and linkage all back on the bike. Very simple to do the bearings using the vice and sockets method.

And the bearings supplied by GasGas UK are now sealed rather than a separate seal so hopefully they'll last a bit longer.
