danbbx1
Evening all, need to replace wheel bearings in rear wheel. What brand is best to use? Thanks
the addict
Whatever brand you use make sure you carefully take off the plastic bearing covers and pack them well with new waterproof grease.
dadof2
If you go onto "Simply Bearings" website they offer a range of quality / price. I generally find so long as they are branded such as SKF or Timken, how long they last is far more to do with maintenance. You can flick the seal out of a RS bearing, rinse it out with 2 stroke mix or WD40, let it dry and re grease it and they last for many years.
toneh
Get stainless bearings , only slightly more expensive but considering they spend half there life in water a better option
