First, before you do anything else, take the clutch cover off and check that you have 6 clutch springs fitted and not 4, 3 or 2 !  People sometimes remove springs to make the clutch pull easier, but it can lead to the clutch slipping.

Secondly, has energy saving car engine oil,, or an oil which has slippery additives in it's recipe, such as Castrol Magnatec been used to fill the gearbox?.  These will make a wet clutch slip.  If so, you will need to drain the oil, remove the pack of clutch plates and wash them to remove the slippery oil.

Then refill with something like Putoline GP10 gearbox oil.

I have used Castrol Magnatec (10w-40) in loads of bikes on and off road from 50 to 1100cc and never had a clutch slip problem because of it

Best to read around the web on the subject of the consequences of using fuel saving/slippery oils in wet motorcycle clutches.  Loads of examples.  Try Honda owners websites.

Lots more if you look.

I used Castrol Magnatec in my Goldwing GL 1800.  Once. Immediate clutch slip under hard acceleration.  Had to take the clutch out and wash the plates.  Then lightly sand each.
