charliechitlins Posted November 7, 2005 Report Share Posted November 7, 2005 Try drilling the starter jet. It's not a terribly precise operation like a main or pilot jet would be. jools Posted November 14, 2005 Author Report Share Posted November 14, 2005 woah, it's ok the bike was no-where near run - in at the time, the past 300's i've had were buggers to start when new. Since this problem, its been well run-in and starts first kick everytime (even from cold) and it has'nt missed a beat I understand where you are coming from but i cannot blame the dealer for the bike not being run-in, as genuinely, the ones in the past were not the easiest to start. thanks again.
