treforissa
Hi all, I've just acquired this bike and was told it is a sprite. I have no other info at all & would really appreciate as much info as possible. The engine is a Sachs, engine number 5499389/122 1251/5A Thanks in advance. trialsrfun
Hi Dave,Your bike is indeed a Sachs engined Sprite so from around 1969 ish, 125cc and appears to be in remarkably good original condition.Welcome to Trials Central if you do a search you should find more Sprite info. old trials fanatic
Definately in good nick. At one time you couldnt move for cast iron barrelled, like yours, and big fin alloy barrelled Sprites and they certainly did their part in introducing a lot of people into this wonderful sport. My local club Peak classic has introduced a class for these along with many others from the late 60's and early 70's called "forgotten era".
