baurespdx
Hello everyone! we gave the carb a real good cleaning and she starts ok. But, she idles a little rough and as soon as we give her gas the engine makes a deep bogging sound then the RPMs pick up with throttle. We adjusted the pilot and idle screw and played with the settings to no avail. We also cleaned the exhaust. Any advice? Thanks, Adrien
feetupfun
partially or fully blocked pilot jet or pilot mixture passage
cleanorbust
You'd have to remove the pilot jet to clean it thoroughly, not sure if you did this when cleaning the carb. Make sure you use a well-fitting screwdriver, the jets can easily get chewed up if the fit isn't good. kingscorpion
A 4x1 mm flat screwdriver will fit perfectly.
