splicer64
Hello all...new to trials...read all I can on this here and other places and I'm looking for some help. I have the Gaerne Balance Oiled...great boots...but they are a little full in the cut...added insoles and that helped a bit but the question is do other brands fit smaller (not length), slimmer? I have read some make comments that the Sidi Trial Zero boots fit more snugly in the foot around the ankle and up the leg...if you have had several brands to include these please comment. I noticed some riders seem to wear there boots fairly loosely is that something people just have to tolerate based on the manufacturers middle of the road cut or is that a common trait with riders, I am used to having boots fit snugly, is this just an unreasonable expectation on my part....Thank You for any help! tshock250
I think the new Hebo boots use the boa system rather than buckles, allowing for more snug fitting. Might be worth checking those out.

2stroke4stroke
I certainly found the Gaernes to be small in the foot.
broberg
I'll jump in with a related question, I have only tried a pair of Hebo boots, and they where wickedly small compared to my regular size (eu42/uk8) And now I'm looking to order a pair of wulfsport, would you say they also are "small for their size" or more normal size compared to regular shoes? smarty156
If the Hebo are small then try the next size up. Generally I've found I get the next size up in Boots, especially wearing thickish socks.
