stu3y
Got told by a beta dealer to use this oil it will transform the clutch and stop any clutch drag etc, any one used it? Is it OK using 4T in a 2T ?
2stroke4stroke
According to the specification sheet it's a real wonder fluid used in all sorts of comp and racing machinery so it should protect a trials gearbox and primary drive just fine. toneh
I use it in my mont ,and my brother uses it in his new 2t sherco gearbox ,so I'm guessing it's fine to use in 4 and 2t Edited June 10, 2016 by toneh
dadof2
300V is a very good oil that comes in a wide range of grades. 5w-30 is a the less viscous end of the range. It may make the clutch a bit grabby, if so try 5w-40 or 10w-40. 10w-40 works well in trials and MX clutches.
totty79
I use it in my evo 250. It doesn't work miracles, but my clutch hasn't failed to release since switching, as with most oils drag increases when it needs changing. 5/40 is fine the clutch isn't too grabby. billyt
This is engine oil not gear oil. Will work in a bottom end but made to lube the top end of a 4T. Edited June 11, 2016 by billyt
2stroke4stroke
But designed to also do the gearbox on the typical Japanese multi producing a multiple of the power and torque of a trials bike so there should be no detriment, particularly if changed at trials frequencies.
