My father-in-law, who used to race back in the day, got me into motorcycles and he and I have been restoring and racing vintage bikes ever since. I learned to ride on a 1971 Hodaka Super Rat and a 1986 Yamaha TY 350. I have always enjoyed riding the trials bike. My father-in-law used to compete in trials as well. I recently acquired a Fantic 240 professional trials bike (that had been sitting outside for 20 years with a tree growing out of it) and have joined the site in search of information about the bike, part sourcing, and just general vintage trials stuff.
