hi just joined this forum as getting back into trials after 4 years of enduro.

just picked up my new 2006 290 yesterday from Chris Edwards of TP offroad in lowestoft top bloke highly recomended + he has a wicked training ground right on the coast with woods cliffs rocks etc, give him a bell.

this thing is just gorgeous looks 100 times better in the flesh than on the web cant wait to ride it, tho still suffering with knee injury from last enduro! :ph34r: gonna try and run it in next saturday tho i have poodled about on the road and its very impressive, very smooth.

will post some pics later today to get you all drooling :D:o

Hi Nigel,

Highland Leisure Sport had one on display at the Bon Accord trial today. Frame looks to be powder coated and is quite thick, not thin like on road bike frames.

There is a lot of room at the front of the motor, the radiator is a KTM item and is much shorter than previously, now like a Gas Gas.

No rear light on the mudguard only a front light. I like it!

Have you had the tape measure out to see which slot in your emporium that one will best fit?

frame is indeed thickly powder coated it has small thick stickers for where your boots rub ive added a bit more protection with sticky real carbon fibre everything seems to be nicely finished, there is a lot of space around the engine you could probably change the piston without taking the tank off!
