tman427
What is the best way to straighten the front end after a trip over the bars. Nothing broke, just front wheel in not aligned straight with the bars and forks. May need to straighten the fork brace as well as it seems a bit off now. I was going to loosen the triple clamps up, pump the forks up and down a bit and visually align the front wheel, tighten the clamps then align the brace and fender. Thoughts? Thanks Tom
onefootup
Check your handlebars aren't bent first
paulmac
Loosen the bottom triple tree pinch bolts (keep the top ones tight) the fork brace/mudguard stay and the axle pinch bolts - give it good wiggle from side to side and pump the suspension a few times. Tighten the bottom triple tree pinch bolts first then the axle then the fork brace/mudguard stay and Bob's yer uncle. If the bars are net - change em - much cheaper than dental work. 2stroke4stroke
Wiggling needs to be done with the front wheel held, usually between the legs, or not much will happen.
zippy
Whack the tire against a tree to make it move the other direction.
