gazzaecowarrior
Just removed my carb for a strip and rebuild on my 08 250 txt pro. Its got an overflow / breather pipe in the choke side about 2" long. On the other side is a spiggot which looks like a pipe should be on it but there isn't. Should there be a pipe or not. I'm worried water etc could enter the carb if the pipe isn't on the other side. Any ideas ?
copemech
Should have a 90 degree outlet on both sides, and a short tube like that does make a good crap deflector when washing and such on both.

Thanks for that. I thought it was missing something.
crazybond700
I have got one tube to both sides, with a large cut on the bottom
richt
If you use a single pipe to join both sides it must have hole at the bottom.
gazzaecowarrior
Thanks for all the responses. I'll do two single pipes. Are they breather or overflow pipes ?
crazybond700
If you use a single pipe to join both sides it must have hole at the bottom. Yeah, I cut out a sort of diamond shape on the bottom of the tube. Easily done with cut pliers Edited August 12, 2016 by crazybond700
copemech
They are breathers but fuel can spill if the bike it on its side.
