guys
Depends on position. Lower back starts to burn around 13km but that was sitting down. Could probably seat stander until I crashed from boredom. I've done much longer on a sportsbike but after a while it's boring and difficult to pay attention. Come on! There must be a video of one of your stunts to show us. Or are you too modest to show it?
jimmyl
Why don't you try jimmyl, my guess would be 10 mins maximum for us mere mortals, And as for 'on a standard bike' unless you rigged up some sort of refuelling meathod to top up a tank that would only take you about a third of the a lap per fill, your not going the distance. Wish Doug the best of luck with it though. You miss my point. I'm totaly in agreement with what Doug Has had to do to the bike and any of those people saying different are not realistic. Hence my comments above. Good luck Doug and team.
s.e.lucas
Come on! There must be a video of one of your stunts to show us. Or are you too modest to show it? No video. I'm antisocial. This is one of 2 pics I have. About 12 years ago I guess.

Andy
Not tried it yet, but there's apparently a Dougie Wheelie Game for mobile devices. Clickety linky

Clickety linky Sort of reminds me of a mash up between paperboy and spyhunter from the 80s.

andyrothers
Very impressive result clearly no walk in the park..we watched it... and some great support globally... Toni Bou, Mark Webber even BBC sport but disappointingly it seems to have slipped by some specialist media channel(s). A great opportunity to promote our sport. As someone mentioned the longest clean in Doug life...

cleanorbust
What seems surprising about the feat, given the meticulous preparation that went into it, was Dougie's decision to ride without eye protection. It would only have needed a small bug or fly to get in his eye and the whole attempt would have been made much more difficult - even Dougie couldn't have relied on riding one-handed to clear it.
