turps
I have a 1980 black engine Beamish, the fork springs are getting a bit tired and I am thinking about replacing them. I was wondering if full length springs would be ok to use without the spacer at the top or do I need to try and get some the correct length and continue to use the spacer. Any advice would be most welcome, thanks
timdog
Not sure if this is relevant to you but I bought "magicals" progressive springs with the variable length preload spacer so you can set it up to suit you. Works well in the bultaco forks

shakennstirred
If you can get full length springs, they will be fine . they use the spacer as its cheaper than having a full size spring
