sirdabalot
Unscrew the Allen bolt that secures the kickstart to the centre of the shaft about 2 turns. Then pull the kickstart out so that it presses onto the top of the bolt, this will extract the kickstart knuckle from the shaft. If its tight all the way unscrew the bolt a few turns again and repeat.

zuendapp
One word of caution, I would not remove the water pump from the clutch housing, I normally put a tie wrap thru one of the bolt holes to make sure it doesn't come out of the housing. Also the kick start shaft seal can be damaged on removal / install. I am surprised that your bike is a 2013 that you haven't become a expert on side cover / clutch pack adjust / kick start repair yet ;-)
toetoe
The first thing I did was to go to YouTube and I did what the Jim Snell video said but no chance, iv had it socking in wd over night but still no joy, as far as being an expert, iv had the bike for almost two years and haven't had any problems with the kick start, clutch or cover in fact except for the normal wear and tear its never let me down, thanks for the replies everyone, iv gone as far as my limited skill will allow me, luckily a mechanic friend has offered to help me out, I think that would be the best way forward.
baldilocks
I usually have to kick the bike over with the lanyard off. Compression to push against helps
