dwb5151
Hi my 2011 Sherco 290 fan is screaming like crazy at the minute does anyone know where I could get a motor for it, as my dealer is quoting me £30. I was also wondering if any of you could tell me weather I would have to take the whole radiator out or not to do this. As I took the rubber cap of the back of the fan which wasn't glued and I can see the motor which has got two wires connected to it. If I disconnect the wires should the motor just slide out. Any advice would be appreciated as I have never done this before. Many thanks Dw

2stroke4stroke
I know computer guys who have used fan motors from IT equipment on various vehicle cooling applications. Apparently the (entirely unnecessary in the UK) Mini oil cooler motor is very badly placed and gets a lot of dirt thrown at it. bultaco82
I have the same bike and I periodically spray the fan motor with silicone spray.(once or twice a season) I've kept the fan going for two or three years that way. Good luck!
