fantic tom
I'm having some bother with my fantic 305, it will only run with the choke on. With choke off it runs up and down and and soot up the spark plug. Iv stripped and cleaned the carb and took off the reed valve and checked them and all looks good! The manifold lookx good too no ctacks ect. Any ideas what else I could check? Cheers!
lineaway
You need to clean the choke circuit including the float bowl.

b40rt
Does the 305 fantic carb have an air screw or a petrol screw ?
zisko62
it'd be a air screw this type of dellorto (oval inlet) is very difficult to set up. It has a really small pilot jet and this is hidden really deep in the body so most time it is blocked
fantic tom
Sorted! I changed an o ring on one of the jets and a bit of an adjustment on the air screw and it now runs brilliant!
