trialschris
Hi I've got an ice hell 300 The bike starts but immediately dies if you hold the throttle wide open after kicking it the bike revs then dies then revs then dies it keeps doing this until you let go of throttle then it dies it's as if someone holding the kill button but tried a new one and a new plug Anyone had a similar problem Cheers chris
four_art_tee
Sounds as if the capacitor has gone, I had mine go with those symptoms. Could also be the TPS which means it would throw air in when the throttle is opened. best to speak to Vertigo themselves.

the dabster
how long have you been using the bike Chris and has it given you any bother previously?
micm
I tested an Ice Hell 300 today Nov 26 (and a Camo 250) at the Hookwood Vertigo test. I am surprised that you are holding the throttle wide open is there a particular reason? Although fuel Injected, and thinking of my experiences with Montesa 4rts and modern Ossas I was told, by the company rep, a little throttle was in fact ok, but not wide open. Holding the throttle wide open was sometimes suggested on the FI Ossas to 'clear the pipes' if they had flooded. I should also add the 'Ice Hell' seems a beautifully built and detailed bike, looks stunning in the flesh and is a joy to ride.
murdo
I've had mine since February. How long you had the bike? I wouldn't be giving it full throttle you'll be over fuel it flooding. If it starts & dosnt run clean while running on a fast idle hit the kill button for a second but don't let the bike stop also once started move to 4 map it's the weekest setting helping it run cleaner till it warms up. Hope this helps don't think you'll get a answer on phone from nick on Monday think their all at new bike launch in Spain
