trialsscotland
I've got a 2014 Beta evo 250 and as everyone knows it gets to a certain point where you need to take the carb out and carry out the ritual of cleaning it, well, for me this normally ends up in something going wrong and this time surprisingly was no different. i lost the pin that holds the floats in resulting in them (when resembled and put back in the bike) petrol flowing out of the overflow valve and going everywhere. my question is can i make a "homemade" pin thats the same diameter, length, ect because i cant find a dealer and boleve me i have looked everywhere what ships to my location. Thanks, any help and advice is appreciated.

mcman56
Same carb is used on a lot of Japanese 80/85 cc MX bikes so other dealers may have them also.
