pudrev3 Posted December 10, 2016 Report Share Posted December 10, 2016 I noticed I was losing water when the engine is running , I checked my oil and seems ok,so I checked my water pump....... I removed the impeller and noticed behind there is a rusty coloured bearing shell that doesn't look right ...... is there supposed to be a bearing because it looks to me that it was one....... it's a beta evo 4t 2014 any help would be appreciated cheers folks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

billyt Posted December 12, 2016 Report Share Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) PUD Did you damage the housing or was it already damaged? There are two seals in there. One to keep transmission oil out of the cooling circuit and one inverted to keep water out of the transmission. Did you find the remnant parts of the seal? Seals are meant to be friction fit, grease will lower the friction. Message me again on FB.........
