bothfeetdown
I'm thinking of getting a Dave Cooper van rack for my bongo, it has an 85kg nose weight which is probably better than many vehicles that use racks but it has a fair bit overhang past the back axle. Has anyone used a trials rack on a bongo. It will be to carry a montesa Cota 247 initially Cheers

Bomgo.. What a great bit of kit! Hope this helps.
bothfeetdown
Cool! No grief with the suspension bottoming out etc?
tried
If you have your belly pan fitted on the bongo , it should not be a problem. My bongo does bottom out occasionally but never caused a problem.
bothfeetdown
Cheers, I've got a trailer but it's hassle and the local trials ground is really local
steve_earle
A rack on a Bongo will be fine, That's the least of your worries with a Bongo!
bothfeetdown
Thanks Steve, I'm in my eleventh year of Bongo ownership well accustomed to all the benefits of owning one. Have you got one?
steve_earle
No, but I can play them without drumsticks! I actually spent many years importing and selling them but that's another story! My old man has one but I leave it to my brother to sort as he's the one that talked him into it! My wife said she wanted one so I got her a Granvia!!! bothfeetdown
They were a bit rare when we got ours, got it via AVA practically brand new when it was imported. Good call on the Granvia
