steveindar
Hi All, New to the site and new to Trials bikes. Absolutely NO experience in foot-ups but I've been off-road biking for more than 30 yrs. Age is catching up and even though I still love blasting through the bush with the youngsters I thought something more sedate (No, not a Harley) might be just as much fun. I live in Tanzania (14yrs now) down in the Southern Highlands, the terrain is very hilly, and even though we are only 8 degrees below the equator it gets pretty chilly here and wet! A mate riding around Dar-es-Salaam found this TY250Z being abused by some local Arab kids, made them an offer then passed it on to me. She runs, or ran, until yesterday when she left me standing 6km's from home. Needless to say the walk home in boots was not pleasant, most of it uphill! Anyway, I hope to find the reasons for her stranding me, and why she won't start, within this forum. Cheers Steve

hillary
Try stripping and cleaning the carburettor first, but a nightmare to get at. Bet the Arab kids haven't attacked it.
turbofurball
That's a classy looking bike, looks like it should be good for covering distance as well as trials Is there much trials riding in Tanzania?

Not much of any kind of organised motor sport really. Bit of car rallying but not much else. I know of three trials bikes in the country, two mates and myself.
