Alan taylor Posted January 31, 2017 Report Share Posted January 31, 2017 Help plz, I have a gas gas 280 03 and broken spoke nipple I ordered 3xnew nipples and tried to fix broken one, it seems the new ones supplied by gas gas spares are a different thread to original, the broken one with thread up and down spoke whereas replacements seem very tight am I missing something or have I been sold wrong thread many thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
arnoux Posted February 1, 2017 Report Share Posted February 1, 2017 A couple of years ago Morad changed the thread diameter on the front spokes to a finer pitch. (but same diameter) The original part number is BT27718001 which is the 3mm coarse pitch original type The new ones with the fine pitch are BT27718001/2 Both are still available as far as I know from Gas Gas Spain and other suppliers.
