toddinmn
Has anyone modded there ttr to perform like the scorpa? I would think all it would it take is the scorpa flywheel some tires and gearing.I only use my ttr for tight trail work and want to get a trials bike, was thinking this would make a cheap happy medium.Would be happy to here any ideas or suggestions. craig10
The gearing on the Scorpa 125 is 10/57 with an 18" back tyre (some have 11/57 but it makes it a bit lively in first). Not sure about the flywheel. Total weight around 75kg, lighter than a Rev 3. What's the standard TTR gearing? dgshannon
I'm sure that the mods would make for a great bike, but there is more to it than that. The carb, cam, ignition, clutch, exhaust, ??? are all different from the TTR engine. I am currently riding an SY175F, and have also imagined the engine mounted in a TTR 125 chassis! What a neat trail/play bike that would make.
