I was thinking of an 'Otter' frame for my cub Has the address changed? had a long look at Duncan Mcdonalds cub today at a trial does he make them commercially? trialsrfun
Duncan does make the Armac to order & they are very nice indeed. Faber frames are at faberframes.com Sammy Miller had a stand at the recent Off-Road show at Stoneleigh & had a B40 in an Otter frame that had a bolt on subframe, they claimed that this made it fully compatible with the requirements for all the differing pre 65 clubs rules inc. Scotland. Faber also build a Otter Cub frame. I too am getting all the parts together to build a Cub but there seems a great deal of confusion where frames are concerned, the only certainty is that the standard Triumph Cub frame needs a lot of work/alteration to make it ok for trials use. unclebuck
Not too mention widening the swinging arm and back wheel hub to get the clearance for a 4.00 tyre.
