cragvale
How often do you change tyres and do you change them both at same time
cragvale
Thanks on balance I will change them. They are a couple of years old and getting rounded on edges.
jonnyc21
I am a bit of a tight wad so I always change mine based on my perception of not having good grip anymore. I could probably do with changing mine more often but I don't seem to be having issues and I spend less doing it that way so... And I agree with the oni nou, front tyres out lasts lots of rears and its really down to your own budget and preferences...
collyolly
Half the advantage of getting a new bike I believe comes from the new tires ! They are the only thing touching the ground giving you the grip and drive. A cheap investment compared to upgrading your bike in the scheme of things. jimmyl
I grade my rears and change them accordingky old ones for practice., good used for club trials and best for championships and nationals ii also select tyre for event. No point using best tyre on rocky or grippy terrain . front will last a good year would say and 2 rears if you manage them even riding every week.
nigel dabster
as above a spare wheel allows even more grading.
