netley Posted April 24, 2017 Report Share Posted April 24, 2017 Hi, I'm just going to change the fluids on my 349 prior to putting the new carb on.I'm guessing the large screw on the bottom of the left hand side case is the drain for the the transmission oil and the fill plug is on the top. I presume the plastic screw under the engine is the drain for the gearbox oil with filler above. So far about 1/2 teaspoon of water out of the transmission and a tablespoon of oil from the gearbox.
