midlife
As the title says what colour of blue is the closest to a 2016 Sherco.
pjw123
Take a part with the colour you want down to your local Trade Motor Factor/ Paint Supplier. Ask them to get a match using the paint colour code chips. They may be able to make up a Rattle can, or you might have to get them to mix up a 1/4 or 1/2 litre of car paint, which will have to be sprayed on, & may need hardener, thinner, or 2k lacquer. (not for beginners, even if it looks dead easy on You Tube.). Alternatively, enquire at you local Auto paint shop & see if they will chip it up & blow it over. badger360
Ultra marine blue ral code 5002 its hard to match the frame colour as sherco use only a thin top coat and the white primer shows though so the paint is lighter or darker in places. b40rt
Does it make any difference when your using a 6" brush ?
dadof2
If you buy rattle cans (aerosols) from a motor factors or auto paint supplier you will probably find they come with far too large / usually fan shaped nozzle that is unsuitable for motorcycle frame work. The nozzles (round spray pattern) on Halfords or similar cans are far smaller and easier to control. The paint in ready mixed cans is thinner and not as hard wearing as the paint in rattle cans that is made up to match your colour. If you posted exactly what you are trying to do I could post more advice or as you are in southern scotland try:https://carlisle.cylex-uk.co.uk/company/carlisle-panel-factors-ltd-14266069.html is part of the BMF group which I think has branches throughout Northern England and the Borders.
