dcpowpow Posted January 21, 2004 Report Share Posted January 21, 2004 I just got my new 04 Sherco 290 and it feels like the clutch pulls harder than on the 03. Does anyone else have this problem or am I just getting weaker. I tried putting on last years shorty black levers and it still feels different. What did they change ? motomilt Posted January 21, 2004 Report Share Posted January 21, 2004 Hi My 04' has a noticable harder pull then my 03' I tryed another and it was the same. I take it to be not broken in yet ( spring and oil) and the different levers. Seems to be Quiker acting too. dcpowpow Posted January 21, 2004 Author Report Share Posted January 21, 2004 Yeah, after a few rides it is getting a bit easier. I tried the black levers and the engagement is a bit mushier. I like the quicker silver levers, but the pull with the black ones is a tad easier. I am staying stock.. So, it looks like it will get better over time and I will get stronger.
