chatlie44
I fitted a mapping switch to my 2016 repsol and when I switch to the mode 2 map it feels like if you have water in the carb (if it had one) you open the throttle up and the engine stutters. teddybattye
Do you have the dual map throttle body fitted to the bike? What does the part number say on the throttle number? It could be that the mode 2 map isn't setup right Edited September 30, 2017 by teddybattye spelling

sportsawyer
If the TB/ECU has P.N. 16400-NN4-L11, then it's a 2ED. If the TB/ECU has P.N. 16400-NN4-L31, then it's a 4ED. The L11 TB/ECU map 2 is tuned to work with the O2 sensor, catalytic converter, exhaust restriction, and intake restriction. The 2ED model doesn't come with a map switch, and uses a jumper in the headlight connector to put the bike in map 2 for all the engine restriction. If your bike didn't come with the map switch, I suspect you have the 2ED model, but check the TB/ECU number to confirm whether or not you have the 2ED TB/ECU. If you've put the race kit parts parts on your bike, but still have the L11 TB/ECU, I'd expect it'd run poorly (as you are seeing) in map 2.
