Hi all

I'm looking for advise, total newbie who has bought a trials bike and would like some guidance on what trials trouser may be best.

I'm looking for something robust and which will be comfortable?

Thanks

There is all kinds of gear from Up and Over, Clice, Mots, Wulfsport, Hebo.  I like my Hebo gear but do plan on getting a set of the Up and Over trials pants/top for a second set.

Up and Over: http://www.upandovertrials.com/

Clice: https://www.clice.com

Mots: https://www.motsracing.com/english/

Wolfsport: http://wulfsport.com/

Hebo: http://hebo.com/

Some pointers:

  • If comfortable leads you to choose baggy, baggy is not a good idea; baggy trousers can catch on kickstart, etc. Same consideration for waterproof overtrousers.
  • As an aside, re catching on kickstart, if you have a Honda with auto decompression it's a 5 if you have your engine stopped by moving the kickstart.
  • If your legs can come into contact with the front pipe of the exhaust fit an exhaust heat shield as polyester and hot exhaust pipes make for a nasty burn.

There's still a piece of my mate's leg left on the front pipe due to the latter....
