miner
Was jet washing the bike today and heard a thud, looked down and saw the front part chain slider by the sprocket had broken off... I know these are a wear item, is it common for them to snap there? Maybe snapped it yesterday playing on the rocks and didn’t realise.... Can you get at the retaining bolts by taking the rear wheel off? Good time to swap out the other chain runners/guides as well?
miner
Spoke to GG-UK when ordering the parts.... not a common failure and definitely a swingarm off job.... grrr. ? Anyone else snapped theirs?

miner
Quick query just about to do this.... there's two pinch bolts on the back of the engine cases.... slacken pinch bolts, loosen swing arm pivot.... refitting it the opposite (pinch bolts last - just like fitting a front wheel?). Like everything else on this bike.... going to be a real fecker to get at..... And no.... I haven't been running about with the old one held on with cable ties....
