benspeed888
hi everyone i now have my beamish 325, i got her started today. she started 3rd kick . now for the questions, the petrol tank(alloy) has a few dents in it, what would be the best way to remove them? also the threded collar that attaches the fuel tap to the tank is knackered, it looks to me to be a replacement tap job. any ideas where i can get a second hand one? thanks Ben
steve shakeshaft
My '78 Beamish had the tank filled and repainted before I bought it. Top job too. Regarding the fuel tap collar, I think I'd find a mate with a lathe and have him make one for me. HTH.

benspeed888
thanks guys, i was wondering if i could get the dents out like you can on an exhaust eg; pressureise it and warm the dents. (the tank hasn't seen petrol for a few years)
