irishjohn
I recently purchased a 1987 Montesa 335 and am in need of some specs and tech data Proper gas/oil ratio? Type and quantity of trans oil? Type and quantity of fork oil? Below is a photo of my new beauty
jonboy883
I thought the 335 was an updated 310, updated specs and conventional forks. Sandifords possibly have specs for the old 310 as they imported them at the time.
tshock250
The 310 was 1990/1991 if I remember correctly.
rotors7
This was the next model after the 330, I've just dug out an original sales brochure and yours looks as mint as the one in the picture, very nice. There's no info on the oils though
woody
Looks as though it has just come out of the factory, very nice Fuel mix on modern semi or fully synthetic is 50:1 for virtually any aircooled cylinder with a liner Forks around 200-220cc of 5 or 10W but quantity and viscosity are personal preference Gearbox is 450cc - most use modern light gear oil of whatever brand Clutch is 300cc either transmission fluid or light gear oil You'll probably find a manual online with all the specs in if you google it as manuals have been put on line for most bikes now. They also come up on ebay from time to time
turbofurball
A very elegant looking bike
irishjohn
Thanks to all. It came from a collection which was on display at the National Motorcycle Museum. It has been started but never ridden.
