If so he would have only been in his mid sixties I think, that's too early and very sad. His results that I can see are fairly impressive before and after he became World Champ in 1980. 2nd 1974. (European Championship, before World Title status) 2nd 1977. (World Championship). 3rd 1979. WC 1st 1980. WC 2nd 1981.
