ktmsprocket
Assuming you are talking about the auto clutch Beta Mini Trial...then.... Join KTMTalk.com and go to the 50cc (Minis) section. The engine and exhaust system is exactly the same as the KTMs....I have three sitting in the garage! Alex, Ken, Flounder, Pit and the giys there will help you out. In answer to some of your questions though.... Premix - run 40:1 Motul 600T or 800T - you can go to 50:1 easily. If you run a cheaper oil - go around 32:1. The stock plug is the BR8ECM but many of us run the BR9eix to help cool the chamber as we run the engines fast and lean sometimes. Keep your electrics away from the head and keep the fuel line away from it too. Use 200mL of Dexron III grade ATF in the clutch (or Maxima MTL75). 150mL is recommended by KTM. but we run 200 to 250mL. if you are running in very hot conditions, add Two2Cool. Change the exhaust packing. Use ROCKWOOL insulation (not the fibreglass stuff). Its cheaper than the KTM packing and works fine. You need to keep this changed regularly especially of run 32:1. The packing gets soaked with oil (or water) and reduces performance and response) For engine parts go to PVK.cc or 50ccparts.com. Both are in the US and very reliable and know more than KTM about those engines. I usually deal with Ken at PVK.
