fivemeister
SIX FROM THE SCOTTISH - DUKE VIDEO Colour footage from six old Scottish Six days trials events from 1952 up to 1969. Just got my copy and its brilliant, worth a tenner of any trialers money to see the old (in colour and really good quality) footage of all the classic sections. Just makes you realise how tough they were in them days as none of em were teenagers and none had support of any kind. Bike broke on Rannoch Moor, you fixed it or walked. Some well known faces there including Bill Wilkinson, Don Smith, Arthur Lampkin, Sammy Miller, Mick Andrews and a very young Malc Rathmell. Highly recommended for any christmas list. kinell
A mate of mine lent me that one just before I did the 04 SSDT. There is a clip on there of the 'Devils Staircase' I think it's called. I was buzzing when I rode down it. I think it was just after Pipers Burn on the Friday. I was sorely tempted to turn round and ride back up it but I was a tad short on time that day
