Many thanks for your help. This is quite possibly irrelevant, but the original Telesco's on my '74 black framed 247 were 325mm eye to eye. iconic558 Posted July 31, 2018 Author Report Share Posted July 31, 2018 Wow, I've never seen a C clip to retain a rear shock. Cool idea. I took the shocks off to grease up the mounts & fter looking at my shocks closely they are actually quite new, they have 504B on the bottom of them? Compared to the gas Betors on my SWM, they are a little oversprung for my weight. These shocks are all black and oil only, no gas, possibly NJB Clubmans? I'll give the boys a call tomorrow.
