If so I was wondering if I cover the forks with those neoprene boots if that would prevent it? what year did they improve the durability of the gold coating? thank you, phil. hgas Posted September 8, 2018 Report Share Posted September 8, 2018 No it’s the action of the fork running through the fork seal that rubs the coating off unfortunately , they are basically the same fork as the later version that come on the new gasgas and Sherco /Scorpio models as standard but just a different colour (olive green)and the paint doesn’t fade Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
