Back in the bad old days, we used to drill holes in the side of the rim and run sheetmetal screws right into the bead of the tire. Looks cool, too! gaff Posted January 28, 2004 Report Share Posted January 28, 2004 I get the same trouble with my tubed tyres, was told to deflate, clear out resedue, dry and pump back upto around 20psi so that the tyre re-seats itself properly, so far so good.
