andy_290
Hi All, Is anyone on here doing the Barnsley trial on the 29th? Not too far from me and I used to live there so gonna pop over and give it a go. One thing though, can't for the life of me work out where Dovecliff woods in Worsbrough is. been on multimap/ordnance survey but can't find the bugger. Anyone on here know where it is/how to get there or a website/email address I can find out from please? Telecat, I presume you'll be going won't you? telecat
Thw way we go is to come off the M1 at Junction 36 and go down the A6195 to wards Wath. I think it's about 5 roundabouts down and you need to take the Wombwell turn signposted for the station. When you get to the Crossroads go straight across. This takes you on to Dovecliffe Road. This takes you alongside Wombwell Wood. The trial Venue is on the right about a mile up. If the Sections are close to the road you'll see them on the right. Either way It's a road on the right I think with some signs pointing to a Recycling site(I think that's what it is). As you go down the road hairpins left and the trial entrance is on the outside of that corner. Take direction from the officials as to where to park as it can be a bit tight. See you there!! andy_290
What's the difference between the club and the beginners, is it that the beginners has no middle/hard/expert routes? will I be able to ride on the 29th as I'm not a member there yet? telecat
Club trial's have a Clubmans route and a "Hard" Course. These are for riders who have ridden for a while. The Beginners/Novice have a very easy course and also a hard(novice) course that is set out to be between the Clubmen and Hard course. As for being a member just join on the day. We'll be renewing NYL's on the day. Edited January 17, 2006 by Telecat

andy_290
If you're a novice, As Telecat says, this is a club trial with no easy route. The beginners is later in february. Andy
