Hello guys, I have only had Montesa's in the past and just recently I acquired a 240 Professional! Planning on using this bike in ARHMA competitions and locally. I have been looking around for some parts I need for it but most is on Euro sites and prices are way too high. Anybody know of a source?

What's way too high?

They stopped making that bike 35 years ago.

You are not sourcing common spares for a Japanese road bike made in the last 5 years.

You are looking for parts for a 35 y/o European niche bike.

You are fortunate that this bike has specialist spares people still in business.

Pay up, and support your local (or specialist) m/c business.

Congrats on a nice bike by the way.

In Motion, Bill Pye, Bob Wright Mcs'  all in the UK & can keep you rolling. Lots of them in regular use over here.  One the finest twinshockers out of the box bar none. Top motor & superb build quality,  & head & shoulders above its counterparts.  For the 21st century.  drop the pegs & bring the steering up to date with a new set of modern yokes.

Late swm's and twin shock aprilia's are actually the pinnacle, but fantic's are excellent stepping stones ?

Just like you have found all the bits you need are available in the UK and Europe. It’s the same for us when looking for that special part or items that are only available in USA. A bit tit for tat really. You are lucky to have chosen a bike make that is very well supported.

You're a funny cynical B@$t@rd b40rt and I mean that in a nice way.  I would love to have any '83/'84/'85 Twin Shock 2 stroke parked in my garage, not a big fan of TLR's though.

Got a nice one there, PDX.  Your son sent me that photo when you got it, looks pretty decent!  Judging by your TY and Montesa refurbs, that one will also be sweet when you are done.  ?

Getting a weak spot in my head for Fantics ever since I bought a 305 for the SO to compete in our Vintage club with.  I'm up to 9 Montesas, so maybe it's time for another Fantic...  ?
