motosolex
Here’s what we’ve seen thus far. Subject to confirmation. We hooked ours up accordingly. Still no spark. May need to dig into the stators. Any tips on flywheel removal?
fourex
It looks like you have the red and green wires from the stator transposed.
motosolex
Will rewire tomorrow. Thanks for the astute observations.
motosolex
And of course Yellow wire still grounded to frame?

motosolex
Thank you Fourex. Well, swapped around the wires to no avail. Used the Ohm meter to measure wires from magneto on the red wire to frame and green wire to frame. No resistance/ continuity on either. The black wire from the mag did show continuity. Can anyone confirm or indicate correct readings? ————————- We wonder now if there is a wire, pickup or stator issue???? Any Flywheel removal techniques or pointers? Thanks
grib
The hand drawn diagram above is correct for wiring the 240 stator to the later type coil. I would suggest taking the flywheel off and checking the stator, the only way to remove the flywheel is with the correct puller.
motosolex
We have spark! After basically rebuilding the whole stator and re-wireing plus new fasteners and a Ducati Energia CDI....we have a nice spark. Now a few fitment issues and she ought to go. Thanks to all the inputs from all of you! attached a nice flywheel timing picture
