They seem awfully easy to make and would sure beat the $30 price of an OEM filter. I'd assume you can just use some high density (high PPI) foam from a local shop? Any insight? section swept Posted December 17, 2018 Report Share Posted December 17, 2018 You can buy filter foam in sheets and then cut to size. You can double or treble the layers to give finer filtering just be careful you dont cause a restiction to breathing. Experiment on scrap filter foam if you use a glue, some will melt the foam.
