Make sure you put some spacers on your mudgaurd to increase the gap between the front tyre and the mudguard, as the ground there is easily the worlds most sticky combination of mud and leaves you will ever find, and can stop your bike moving forward within about the first two minutes of the trial!

Top ride by Sam Haslam. Well done :( An excellent ride by Ross Danby to beat Alexz too.

With Alexz on 4 and Ross on 3 after the first lap, It needed Ross to mess up for Alexz to take advantage but Ross went clean on the second lap of 21 sections whilst Alexz slipped another 2 dabs to go to 6 doubling Ross's score.

The organiser’s made the most of the terrain but it was always going to be a close one without the really big stuff to test these lads.

Its going to be really exciting watching these two superb riders battling it out this year.

Interesting report didn't notice you there?

The terrain there is very good and capable of supporting riders of all levels, a couple of years ago Steve Saunders manged a win on over 20 marks lost unless I'm mistaken. I think the sections were significantly easier (on both courses)this year for whatever reason. I am going from memory but Alexz rode very well and won on 9 marks lost last year.

Interesting battle, what should I say?
