Want to mine for the Hurran on Sunday, but I am worried it will catch on the exhaust when the forks compress. Its never been a problem on my other bikes, but the 4rt pipe gets a lot hotter. Also I take it you run a Jitsie air filter without the fire proof cage that you put the original in. As my new Jitsie filter does not fit in it. simtech Posted January 11, 2006 Report Share Posted January 11, 2006 I have always run my 4RT with 10mm spacers on the mudguard with no problem at all. Bit concerned that you're not using the fire proof cage though as I know of someone who removed that part on the Sherco and melted the filter due a 'Spit Back' through the carb !!!! It's definately a 4rt filter as it has the holes in it for the bolts to go through, instead of the lip to attach the cage on. Cheers anyway, I will probably just run it with the standard one.
